RiskyDisky uses the modified Gail model and Risk/Benefit Index to predict the 5-yr risk for breast cancer and consequences of 5-yrs of tamoxifen therapy. It uses the Claus model to predict risk based on family history alone. The Frank model is used to predict chances for BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations. This software is useful for patient counseling and for evaluating whether or not to use prophylactic therapy for patients at high risk for breast cancer. It will be of value in deciding which patients require gene mutation analysis.
